Higher Vocational Teacher Class Cultural Construction Research

More and more good teachers are needed for the development of our education in the process of education reform. Just as Deng Xiaoping said:"Whether a school can cultivate qualified talent for our socialist career, educate laborers who are morally, intelligently and physically eligible with socialist consciousness, teachers play a crucial part. Like father, like son. Good students come from the cultivation of good teachers. Our normal school bears the responsibility of cultivating qualified teachers for primary schools. The qualities of a teacher, particularly his or her personality and the ability of social communication are largely developed in a particular group.In a school, the most fundamental group students live in is the class, where they are closely related with each other. Classes are the most basic units for the students taking activities and receiving education. It is also an important platform where the students'personalities are developed. Students with identical education background communicate and share what they have with each other in this group and they take it as a stage to display their skills and gifts. So it is important to put more emphasis on the education of our normal school students.This thesis is based on former researches. I classify what the class culture as: Class culture is the particular way of life and system of value which are formed in the process of moving toward the target of the class and which can meet the demand of every member of the class, all this must be guided by the head teacher. Class culture is part of the school culture, and it is the micro-school culture.This thesis is based on my personal research on the construction of class culture. Guided by the theory, I reflected the process of class culture construction, refined and summarized the achievements, which serves as examples and models for the future class culture construction of normal school. I put forward my own view by combining the current social development and the physical and psychological characteristics of the normal school students, as follows:1. A target-oriented class is the basis of class culture construction.2. The head teacher is the core of class culture construction. 3. A sound class offers organizational support for the development of students.4. Students play the main role is the key to class culture construction.In the meantime the head teacher has to face the fact that the fall of the quality of students, the difficulty in finding a job and the uncertainty of normal school's future. He/she should overcome the difficulty improve his/her own quality and educate the students with higher standard, thus cultivating qualified normal school students for our country.
