The Problems And Countermeasures Research Of College Laboratory Management

College laboratory is one of the key components for the entire teaching systemwhich acts as important base for practical teaching and science research in college.Laboratory management plays important role in college and university managementwork; moreover it is the foundation part of college teaching and research. This paperanalyzed the characteristics and current situation of laboratory management based onrelevant theoretical research, and provided appropriate countermeasures afterdiscussion for some issues appeared in the work of laboratory construction andmanagement.This paper contains four chapters. The first chapter is introduction whichpresents the significance of research subject, related concept definitions, and researchmethods.The second chapter discusses theoretical knowledge for college laboratorymanagement respectively. Laboratory management includes the meaning, importance,mission and principles, current status and the main content. It also introducessuccessful laboratory management experiences from other counties. The third chapterexplores some key problems and reasons which are formed in laboratory constructionand management with the requirement of college reform process. The fourth chapterwhich is titled “countermeasures for the college laboratory managementimprovement”, proposes some main management goals such as better services forhigher education, more qualify graduates and high-level research achievements. Italso requires reinforcing the laboratory rules and experimental teaching managementto set up a new framework for laboratory teaching system. In addition, laboratory staffteam construction should be reinforced and a more open laboratory is required. Theenvironmental development of laboratory should catch up with college teachingreform to satisfy its needs.
