The school-enterprise cooperation model reflects the characteristic that vocational education has theclosest and most direct connection with economic society, industry and enterprise. The further promotionof the cooperation between school and enterprise is an inevitable choice in market economy conditions, which can realize resource sharing, complementary advantages, and mutual benefit. However, from thecurrent implementation of the cooperation model between school and enterprise, we can see that thecooperation between vocational schools and enterprise mostly stays in a shallower surface, that is, schoolsare more active while enterprise is relatively passive. The phenomenon is prevalent that schools areenthusiastic while enterprise is indifferent. The problem that there lacks deeper cooperation betweenschool and enterprise demands a prompt solution. This paper aims to explore the effective solution from the perspective of the win-win culture on thebasis of our country’s situation and cultural foundation. The win-win culture is the product of thecombination of the “harmony” idea in Chinese traditional culture and the concept of competition inmodern Western market economy. It has already become an important component of the Socialist“harmonious” culture. The core of the “win-win” culture is the interest balance of both sides of thecooperation. Schools and enterprise have different social responsibility, and therefore inevitably havedifferent interest demands. The basic task of vocational schools is to train the qualified talents, whileenterprise is mainly profit-oriented and profitability is the essential characteristic of enterprise as aneconomic entity. Therefore, from the perspective of enterprise, obtaining the profits is forever the mostimportant strategic decision. In order that the enterprise can participate actively into the school-enterprisecooperation, we must make the school-enterprise cooperation model satisfy the needs of schools’ trainingtalents and the needs of enterprise development for higher profits at the same time. The school-enterprisecooperation model based on the win-win culture focuses on the interest balance between school andenterprise: school pursues its educational effectiveness maximization, and enterprise pursues its profitmaximization; by combining the educational effectiveness of school with the profit of enterprise andsatisfying the interest of both sides to a certain degree, this model can be both the model of school’straining talents and the model of enterprise’s survival and development so as to realize the activeparticipation, resource sharing, mutual benefit and win-win of the two sides. This paper, mainly applying the Documentary Research, comparative analysis, investigationresearch, case analysis and so on, through the detailed analysis of the main types of school-enterprisecooperation models, attempts to find out the problem in the current school-enterprise cooperation models, seek the effective solution to the problem and provide feasible advice for further promoting the school-enterprise cooperation. The whole text is divided into four parts. The first part is an overview of theschool-enterprise cooperation model based on the win-win culture, defining the concepts of the “win-win”,the school-enterprise cooperation, and “model” as well as a brief introduction of the theoretical basis: thegame theory, system theory, education and labor production combining theory, and the human capitaltheory. The second part enumerates the main types of China’s current school-enterprise cooperationmodels: practice and training—take the “learn work alternate” model as an example; the teachingmanagement—take the “teaching factory” model for example; students’ employment—take the “orderpattern” model as an example; staff training—take the“technical service” as an example; the projectresearch—take the “teaching-research-development” trinity model as an example. The third part, fromtwo aspects—common problem analysis and case analysis, makes a deep analysis of the major problemsand causes of China’s current school-enterprise cooperation models. The common problems mainlyinclude the problem of idea, the problem of strength and the problem of mechanism. The case study resultof the school-enterprise cooperation models of Hebei Building Materials Professional TechnologyInstitute comprises five aspects: practice conditions can’t meet the needs of the practical teaching; there isquite a distance between the teaching contents and the production and operation reality of enterprises;Students’ employment ability can’t satisfy enterprise’s demands; there lack qualified teachers; it is hard forthe subject research achievement to get the recognition of enterprise. The fourth part, expounds theconception and the implementation strategy of the school-enterprise cooperation models based on thewin-win culture. After stating briefly the general idea of constructing the “win-win” model, this paper putsforward the idea of establishing the “win-win” cooperation model between school and enterprise fromfive aspects: integrate the students’ practice and training closely with the improvement of enterpriseequipment; integrate the school teaching management closely with enterprise talent demands; integratestudents employment with enterprise staff recruitment; integrate the school projects research withenterprise technology research; integrate enterprise staff training with school teachers’ construction. Lastlythis paper further discusses the implementing strategies of the school-enterprise “win-win” cooperationmodel: vocational colleges, the enterprise, government and related departments should work together tobuild a complete set of school-enterprise cooperation mechanism to adapt to our country’s developmentof economy and society in the new period. Government and the related departments should takeeffective measures to guarantee the school-enterprise cooperation. Vocational colleges should strengthenthe connotation construction as to improve their own strength, and enterprise should be far-sighted andshoulder the social responsibility bravely.
