Along with economic development, applied and technical personnel favored by the market,higher Vocational Education in Jilin Province has entered a period of rapid development.However, the employment situation of higher vocational college students is not optimistic.Students "difficult job" and corporate "hard labor" is a dilemma.One of the factors that cause this phenomenon is the lag of the vocational guidance.Vocational guidance program is an important means and methods of vocational guidance.Now, higher Vocational Students and vocational guidance due to the lack of necessary theoretical support.The connotation of the vocational guidance courses is not accurate grasp,coupled with the higher vocational colleges have deviation of knowledge and understanding on different degree, led to the curriculum goal broad of the vocational guidance courses.Teaching content targeted is not strong.A serious impact on the effectiveness of the vocational guidance.In this paper, documentary research, comparative analysis, survey research and statistical analysis to investigate the status quo of vocational guidance programs of Jilin Province Higher Vocational Students.Survey results show:Knowledge inculcation is prevalent, curriculum development is shallow, teachers are not high degree of specialization,curriculum evaluation is single and so on.Some of the Higher Vocational Colleges are only a short-term occupation guidance for the graduating students.According to the existing problems.I put forward to develop the occupation guidance curriculum, under the guidance of the occupation career theory Take subjectivity, continuous, growth, practical, school-enterprise cooperation and forward-looking for principles.The main task of the course is to Improve the students’ occupation career planning capability in order to full employment,to achieve all-round development of the students.The course goal is divided into the emotional goal, Knowledge goal, ability training objective and specific teaching objective;Course content and structure, including elementary education of career planning, career planning ability, entrepreneurial guidance, and the situation and policy analysis of the four units.Strive to develop students’ self-cognitive abilities, the ability to explore the job market, career decision-making ability and practical action and the ability to reflect.So learn to plan and manage their own career, to the successful completion of the transition from student to social as well as the future life of each role.Identify the location of their career, to integrate into the social life better.In the specific implementation running,the authors emphasize the specialized of the teacher, the experience of teaching methods and mastery of the teaching process as well as more scientific evaluation.Finally the author briefly discusses the protection strategy of vocational guidance programs and some of the problems of the follow-up study.
