Nowadays, there are two perspectives to extend the statutory retirement age, somepeople prefer extend retirement age to adapt social development, however, some peoplethink it is not the best time to change the retirement age. In this background, some scholarsand experts propose extend retirement age flexibly. This paper aims to discuss thepossibility of flexible extender the retirement age, and analyzed the results of that.This paper research on flexible extender retirement age from the following aspects:(1)Introduce present retirement age of employee and analyze the present retirement system.There many reasons of support or against the extension of retirement age, only we find thefocus of debate, we can solve the problems.(2)I analyzed the factors which determinedperson’s retirement age. Through social survey and quantitative analysis, we got theconclusion that if the factors can affect retirement age, and the degree of the affection.(3)Research on the impact of flexible extender retirement age from the following aspect: laborforce, basic pension accumulation, enterprise, individual accounts accumulation. Flexibleextend retirement age is a way of benefits redistribution, it’s necessary for us to evaluatethe system from both macro and micro perspective.(4) Some suggestions to flexibleextender retirement age, include: to set flexible extender retirement age as the goal ofretirement system reform; establish an incentives for retirement system; choose the righttime to introduce the flexible retirement system; to recognize the restriction of flexibleretirement age.The feature of this paper is that use of questionnaires combine quantitative way toanalysis the question, and then established a regression model of flexible retirement, finallyevaluated the impact of various factors for retirement.
