The new curriculum reform which takes students as the center,clearly pointsout that the curriculum resources cannot be bounded in books. Education needs toget out of school. Curriculum needs to blend in life. Curriculum resources need toexpand it’s scope.Parents as a kind of outside school resources which have acommon goal with school education,can make up of school resource’s shortage at thesame time can expand the curriculum resources sources attracted wide attentions ofthe researchers. But for a variety of reasons, the present situation of exploring andutilizing parents’ edueation effort is not ideal. A lot of precious parents resource isignored and not get reasonable use. Not timely into curriculum application.Thecontradiction between parents resource’s idle and school resource’s shortage isobviouly.Above shows that exploring and utilizing parents’ edueation effort becomeurgent.In this study use the perspective of Home-School co-operation to study theparents’ edueation effort starting from the parent involvement in the Home-SchoolCo-operation. First carding theories of the parents’ edueation effort, introduceresearch status and research results at home and abroad, defined concept of theparents’ edueation effort, analysis of the characteristics and composition of theparents’ edueation effort.Then is the present situation investigation. The author in the literature and thebasis of the previous research, preparation for Wenzhou district of three primaryschool parents and teachers to conduct survey questionnaire. From understanding,practice, organization and system three levels to understand parents’ edueationeffort’s exploring and utilizing.Find problems in it and use the results of the survey to analysis them from the Society, school&teachers and parents aspects.According to the results of the survey, the author believes that to make theparents’ edueation effort reasonable parents need to change the concept to changetheir role in children’s education first. Should becomesupporters of the new course,students’ learning promoter and course participants. The teachers also aware of theirleading role in exploring and utilizing parents’ edueation effort.On this basis the author make strategies for the government and educationdepartments schools and parents separatly.For government and educationdepartments should(a) Provide legal safeguard (b)Provide education training forteachers and parents.For school should:(a) To establish a parent resource library(b)Make a clear goal, build team(c) Make clear the specifications and programs toexploring and utilizing parents’ edueation effort(d) Seek conditions to support(e)Parents and schools to mutual supervision, and evaluation of each other.For paerntsshould:(a) Strengthen their own study, improve education ability.(b)To participate inschool education activities, provide support for the school(c) Involved in the schoolcurriculum under the guidance of the teacher. Should be noted that exploring andutilizing parents’ edueation effort in the new curriculum reform of curriculum mustadhere to the "students foremost" and always proceed from the students’ needs, tograsp the "degree" and "quantity".
