Research On The Tendency To Start An Undertaking Of Graduate Students From Agricultural Colleges In The Middle Part Of China

In recent years, with the employment of college students becoming thefocus of the society, graduate students employment has already been social well-beingissue people pay high attention to. How to make the graduate students becomeself-employed practitioners is an important matter. It not only can alleviate thecontradictions in employment, maintain social stability effectively, but also has strongpractical significance to promote economic reconstructuring and economicdevelopment, and further more to create good atmosphere for the whole society torespect and support people to start an undertaking.Now there still has been little research on graduate students to start their ownbusinesses, especially graduate students from agricultural colleges or universities.Agriculture is the foundation of the national economy. Graduate students ofagricultural colleges play an important role in the process of developing modernagriculture, solving the issues related with agriculture, farmer and rural area andbuilding a new socialist countryside. Currently, our government has also introduced aseries of preferential policies to support college students to start their own businesses.Basing on the opportunities and requirements, it is meaningful to explore the factorsthat affect the graduate students of agricultural colleges to start their own businesses,then to give corresponding countermeasures. It also has significance for agriculturalcollege graduate training. And the most important it has a strong practical significancefor the business success of graduate students and the alleviation of the employmentpressure.This thesis is based on the research on the theory of Self-employment bydomestic and foreign scholars. It studies the problem from the perspective of theinfluencing factors that affect graduate starting their businesses. This research usesquestionnaire, it analyzes systematically the problems that exist in graduate studentsstarting their own businesses from agricultural colleges. At last, it has a SWOTanalysis on agricultural college graduate students Self-employment, and then gives corresponding countermeasures on enhancing the level of tendency of agriculturalcollege graduate students to start their own businesses. The innovative work of thisarticle may be reflected in the following two aspects:firstly, this study is not from the perspective of entrepreneurs as to explore theimpact of human resources and social environmental factors that affect the tendenciesof general business groups who want to start their own businesses, it focuses on thetarget group of the graduate students from agricultural colleges, combining with theunique nature of this group compared with the general business groups. It has a studyto explore the factors affect entrepreneurial tendencies of this special group.Secondly, in this paper, it uses interviews, investigation and other empiricalresearch methods to explore the influencing factors of the agricultural collegesgraduate entrepreneurial tendencies. It provides a theoretical basis for the agriculturalcolleges graduate students to start their own businesses. It is also good reference forthe colleges or universities to encourage students to start an undertaking and Trainstudents’ entrepreneurial behavior tendency.Limited by several of subjective and objective conditions, this thesis can notstudy more systematically and deeply on the impact factors that affect the tendency ofagricultural colleges to start their own businesses, such as the business models to startan undertaking for agricultural college graduate students. Such topics are needed to befurther explored.
