According to Survey on Job Application Abilities and References of2011Graduates by www.zhaopin.com, prospects in vocational development has become the preferred element in selecting a job for the current year’s college graduates with a proportion of41%. And60%of the graduates deemed that their current jobs were not in line with their anticipations. Obviously, objectives of job hunting for college students are not just limited to initially find a job. However, they’re focusing more on future potentials of such occupations. Therefore, employability expression is appropriate to reflect the the college graduates’attitude about employment and career development. Employability is the ability that to get the right sustainable job, be displaied and used in work, required and approved by the employer.The current employability researches are more about college students’self assessment, lack of employers’perspective. However, employed86%of college students, Enterprises have major voice about college students employability. Therefore, this paper stands on the point of the employers to explore college students employability.This paper is in the form of combination between qualitative research and quantitative research, applies a manner of semi-structured interviews and questionnaires, collects a total of10interviews and232questionnaires, uses causal analysis, hermeneutic Circle, backtracking and restructuring, category analysis and statistical description obtains the following conclusions.The research points out that the employability model of college students from the perspective of enterprises is a multidimensional structure including five core dimensions:adaptability, career identidy, work performance, professional knowledge as well as mission capability. And the secondary items under the five core dimensions respectively are strain capacity, learning ability, belief of persistence, initiative, confidence and stress tolerance under adaptability; self-orientation, self-planning. job attitude and self-promotion under career identidy; rationality, positive, responsibility, sincerity, devotion and hardworking under work performance; work experience, education, train, job and industry knowledge professional under professional knowledge; teamwork, execution, logical thinking, innovation, understanding under mission capability.In addition, though this employability model of college students is partly overlapped with those developed by Knight and Mel Fugate. there’re still some differences in division and definition. The model researched in this paper covers the two dimensions of adaptability, career identidy, with the dimension of work performance, professional knowledge and mission capability newly developed. While in the personal quality in Knight’s model can be expressed in this model as work performance from the perspective of enterprises. Moreover, this model represents differences in secondary item division compared with that of Mel Fugate’s. In Mel Fugate’s model, self-recognition is included in adaptability; while in this model it is included in career identidy.To conclude, under different cultural backgrounds, structures of employability of college students are common to some extent, but also have respective characteristics. And this research is the interpretation of employability of college students on domestic enterprises.
