A Study On The Moral Education Of Rural Migrant Workers’Children In The Western Mountainous Area

It has been clearly put forward of the policy that combining the education of the rural immigrant workers’children and the increase of ideological and moral construction of the people under age by the CPC and national government. It indicates that the government cares and pays high attention to the moral education of the rural immigrant workers’ children. This research is of profound significance under this background. However, there is still much deficiency in the moral education of the western rural immigrant workers’ children owing to family, school and society at the moment. This thesis researches and analyzes the current situation of these children by adopting ways of literature collection, questionnaire survey, interview, comparative study, and then comes up with the countermeasures of enhancing and improving the moral education of the western rural immigrant workers’children for the purpose of improving the ideological and ethical standards of these children. It introduces the research background, research purpose and significance; studies review in and abroad, research method and creation briefly in the introduction. On the basis of deeply exploration the current situation of the moral education of the western rural immigrant workers’children, it concludes the characters of their moral education and analyzes the moral education deficiency in view of family, school and society respectively; that is they are limited by family economic condition, deficiency in parents from the terms of family moral education(includes their educational way, behavior custom, family atmosphere); by the deficiency of sluggishness of the moral education idea, simplicity in ways, imperfect teaching body, and relative lag of the moral evaluation in terms of school moral education; and by the deficiency of the unhealthy social morality, mislead by the mass media and lack of supervision in the neighboring environment of school in terms of social moral education. It analyzes the reasons of the above problems and puts forward the countermeasures to enhancing and improving the current situation of the moral education of the western rural immigrant workers’children: first, to optimize the family education and construct fine family environment that in favor of the development of the moral quality of these children. Second, putting stress on transferring the moral education idea of the school with rich moral practice and construct scientific and systematical evaluation system. Last, putting stress on optimizing the social environment and enhancing the social responsibility of the whole.
