| 《The archives law》 explicitly stipulated in article5,"The basic principle of archives in our country is file under unified leadership, the principle of classification management, maintaining the integrity and safety of archives, for facilitate the social various aspects using"。 But at present our country college archives resources management is actually a real information island, in the existing segmentation, and formed the system, each does things in his own way, seek development situation of the relative closed. How to solve the archives information resources sharing and effective utilization has become to research and solve the problem. I put forward area set up the idea of university archives center is trying to solve the above problems the basic train of thought. So, how to build the university archives center, the center of the university archives construction including what aspects, which include the construction of what content, how should be specific, it’s research archives center construction have to solve the problem. This paper through the six chapters’ content within the area of university archives center construction problem of the research and the elaboration. Chapter1of archives center construction of the idea were summarized, show that archives center construction mainly focus on the construction of electronic archives, and introduces the archives centers of background, significance and feasibility conditions, for below of concrete research made the theory foreshadowing. Chapter2through the comparison and reference electronic document center and the construction of digital library alliance the advanced experience of the universities, and puts forward the overall requirements of file center construction and the implementation steps. Chapter3of university archives from the center of the institution, institutional ownership and property management system three, the author introduces the center of the university archives management problems, and then based on the archives center member internal division of labor needs, the construction of organization structure is studied. Chapter4according to the previous chapter research results, the study concluded that the center is a major function of university archives department of business process.
