Since Marslow and Rogers founded Humanism Psychology in1970s, HumanismTeaching View has become one of the most powerful educational ideas, which deeplyimpacted educational thoughts throughout the world in last century. Chinese Education ofChina, based on accepting Western Humanism and combining the thought of "people first"in ancient China, has formed Humanism Concept of Mother Language Education of China.Zhu Shaoyu, a famous contemporary Chinese educator in our country, is generallyaccepted as one of the most influential Chinese educators in the contemporary era,following the "old three of Chinese", Ye Shengtao, Lv Shuxiang, Zhang Zhigong. Theoryof Teaching Material is an important aspect in theory of Chinese Education, which expertsand scholars have paid a lot of attention to and specially studied. Zhu Shaoyu has longconcerned with the study of Chinese Teaching Material and paid a great deal of effort,which made him obtain remarkable results.According to the phenomenon of teaching material disconnected from the previousera and tedious, Zhu Shaoyu put forward that the teaching material should satisfy therequirement of changing times, We should compile the language–thinking andself-studying teaching materials, which its contents and forms is more humanizing andinteresting. As to the tendency of paying much attention to pouring knowledge to thestudents and lacking of humanism, he pointed that we should value the humanismeducation, but also cannot ignore the importance of language education, we must correctlyhandle the literature education and language education relations; To the hot disputebetween the classical and colloquial language, he advocated to arrange the two reasonably.we can see that not only has he summarized the past theory, but also he has deepresearched the current problems of the teaching materials, and has showed his newopinions about the teaching materials of the future. It is all shining the brilliance ofhumanistic thoughts.This paper includes four chapters: Chapter One introduces the origin, developmentand connotation of Chinese and foreign Humanism and its impact on Zhu Shaoyu’seducational thoughts, and then analyzes the forming background and characteristics of histhoughts; Chapter Two introduces connotation of Humanism in Zhu Shaoyu’s TeachingMaterial Theory; Chapter Three analyzes the epoch-making significance of Humanism inZhu Shaoyu’s Teaching Material Theory, combining the New Course Standard and NewTeaching Material.
