Task—driven teaching and learning approach based on the constructivism and humanism is being explored and practiced by all the teachers at the forefront, especially the information technology teachers. The key point of the approach is that the teacher designs the task before the class which is practical, suitable for the students’cognitive level and related to their study and live closely. In the class the students act out the teaching and learning activities driven by the teacher’s task, completing it independently or cooperatively. The students get the clear train of thought, method and the sequence of the knowledge, culturing their abilities of analyzing and solving problems in the process of completing the task.Beginning with narrating the rapid development of information technology education and the current situation of exploring the teaching approach using the information technology, I will point out the necessity of studying the task—driven teaching and learning approach. Then I will introduce the theory basis of the approach including constructivism and humanism. Constructivism pays special attention to the students, stressing on their searching for the knowledge and discovering actively, forming their knowledge meaning actively, while Humanism pays special attention to the students’ own improving, holding the meaning and experience learning naturally.In Part Three, relating to my teaching practice, I will elaborate on the advantages, items for attention in the task designing, the teaching and learning progress of the approach in great detail. Then I’ll sum up the experiment effect using the experiment data and stances in my task—driven teaching experiment, reflect upon the experiment, further narrate the concrete operation of the approach with the help of teaching cases.Relating to my own teaching experiment, I will set out lots of new ideas in my daily teaching actions. Combining theory with practice, I will describe the theory using the vivid cases which is suitable for the teachers at the forefront to read so that it can help them, especially the information technology teachers in the primary school with their teaching.
