To guide female college students to cope with the psychological pressure smoothly, and improve their coping styles, is a question the school, family and society should be concerned about, and it’s also a new topic the education system and the psychological science system have to face now. Combining with the reform of college physical education, on the basis of a systematic analysis about the research at home and abroad of the relationship between physical exercise and coping styles, psychological pressure, this study uses psychological measurement methods and experimental method to discusses the influences of physical exercise on the coping styles and psychological pressure, and then put forward the intermediary model of the influences of body exercise on psychological pressure of female college students. The paper provides theoretical reference for the prevention and remission of college students’psychological pressure, and it also provides experimental basis for the conduct of the psychological health education for school.The experimental study selected189female college students in public sports course of yangzhou university as the research object. Among them, there are67people in basketball class and61people in calisthenics class in the experimental group, and there are30people in basketball class and31people in calisthenics class in the control group. The experiment cycle is12weeks. Before and in the six weeks of the experiment and after12weeks of the experimental, we test the two kinds of indexes of coping styles and psychological pressure of the research object by using the "Scale of Coping Styles of the College Students" and "Scale of Psychological Stress of Chinese College Students ". Our study investigates the influences of body exercise on psychological pressure of female college students with the statistic method of repeated measurement, and inspects the intermediary effect of body exercise on psychological pressure with linear regression analysis.The results show that:(1) Exercise time has positive impact on coping styles, college female students who continued to take part in physical exercise in12weeks exist a very significant difference in the use of transfer, problem solving, patience, escape, fantasy and dimensions. And exist a significant difference in taking complaints and suppressing dimensions. After the last12weeks of participating in aerobics and basketball exercise, the university female students have different affect on dimensions of psychological pressure. The main effect of exercise duration has significant differences in study, social, family, life events, life trivial and stress in total dimensions. The main effect of exercise duration has very significant differences in life dimensions.(2) The effect of basketball exercise on the positive influence of improving the coping styles is more apparent compared with the aerobics training. The effect of basketball exercise and aerobics training in regulating psychological pressure is both obvious.(3) The dimensions of problem orientation, emotional orientation and avoidance orientation of coping styles have remarkable intermediary effect when exercise influences psychological pressure.Through the analysis of the research results above, our study get the following conclusions:(1) The aerobics and basketball exercise has a positive influence on coping styles and psychological pressure of female college students, and as time steady, exercise of12weeks can produce more positive influence than exercise of6weeks. Exercise not only promotes but also maintain mental health.(2) Exercise is a positive way to improve coping styles, deal with psychological pressure. The effect of basketball exercise on the positive influence of improving the coping styles is more apparent compared with the aerobics training. The effect of basketball exercise and aerobics training in regulating psychological pressure is both obvious.(3) Different duration exercise can directly improve psychological pressure, we can also regulate psychological pressure through the intermediary variable of coping styles indirectly.
