Asan essential supplement of higher education in China, Private higher education playsan increasingly important role in meeting social multiple education demands. PrivateVocational institutions as an important part of the Private Higher Education, conformsto the trend and its development, the size of cotinuously expands, teaching quality isimproved significantly. But at the same time, the private higher institutions also facevarious challenges, such as teaching research and daily management all haveadversely affected the development of private higher institutions, especially theconstruction of teaching staff has become the most difficult problem.Hence,constructing teachers that have high quality and excellent structure issignificant for the development of the private vocational colleges.This paper takes the development of private higher education in Shandongprovince as the research background, the teaching staff construction of ProvincePrivate vocational colleges in Shandong province as the research object, and usesliterature, interviews, investigations and other methods. It firstly provides an overviewof books and theses which are about researehing the construction of the qualifiedfaculty in private higher colleges，and defines revelant core concepts, then illustratesimportance and necessity for the teaching construction of private vocational colleges.Secondly, on the basis of in-depth observation and analysis of teaching staff forprivate vocational colleges in Shandong Province, the paper identifies its problems inShandong province. Again, it learns good practices from Beijing and Jiangsu Province,and summarises its experience. Finally, this essay brings up feasibile proposals for theconstruction of teaching staff in Private vocational colleges of ShandongProvince,analyzes the future development trend of the teachers’construction,anddirects the Teachers’ construction of private vocational colleges in Shandong. The research of teaching staff for private vocational colleges in ShandongProvince is not only the needs of private teaching quality, but also the needs ofpromoting the sustainable development of private vocational colleges,thus boostingthe region’s economic development. The faculty building is significant and shouldattract the attention of the private vocational colleges managers.
