The cooperative learning is a cooperative learning group for basic teaching form,the system is the use of teaching various dynamic factors, including among teachers,between students, between teachers and students as well as school internal factors withthe community, parents and teaching interaction interdependence between the variousdynamic factors to coordinate and promote the comprehensive development of learningall the individual members, in order to achieve the pre-set system, the common goalof teaching, and evaluation criteria to the total score of the study group, a teachingtheory and strategy. Contemporary social division of labor, a lot of things that requirecollective efforts together to complete, but contemporary students lack a sense ofcooperation, especially the issue of collective pride. Cooperative learning model isused to promote unity and cooperation among the students to develop their collectivesense of honor and a sense of crisis.In this paper, the literature data, the survey method, experimental method,expert interviews, starting from the research status of sports teaching mode, intensiveresearch on the theoretical basis and the advantages of cooperative learning modeproved theoretically cooperative learning model used in University Table Tennisteaching feasibility and advantages through collaborative teaching model applied to theUniversity Table Tennis teaching practice has proved that:1、The application of cooperative learning in teaching than the traditional teachingbasic technical performance greatly improved students’ college table tennis teaching, butin improving the students’ physical quality improvement is not obvious.2、The application of cooperative learning in teaching can train students interestedin ordinary university table tennis teaching, correct their learning attitude.3、The application of cooperative learning in college table tennis teaching, better than traditional teaching to enhance the internal cohesion of the collective, improve therelationships between the fellow, easy to create a good classroom atmosphere, improvethe efficiency of study.4、The application of cooperative learning in college table tennis teaching, betterthan traditional teaching to close the distance between teachers and students, increasingthe interaction between teachers and students, promotes the teacher in the student mindrecognition, but also make the students have a good evaluation of teachers.
