Emotion regulation is a dynamic process that individual to exert influence on theoccurrence of emotional experience and expression to meet the needs of the externalenvironment. Emotional problems are the focus of research for china and the othercountries. The majority of research has focused on the research and laboratory studies,but less intervention studies.4-5years of age is a critical period of early childhooddevelopment of emotional competence, and there are many emotional problems ofchildren. Therefore, the study of emotion regulation intervention for4-5years oldchildren in country is necessary.The purpose of this study is that children can identify emotions and experienceemotions through take part in the group activities, and so that children can use theself-assertion and self-inhibition reasonably.The4~5years old children in country be as the research object in this study.Firstly, we select47children of two classes in Handan Wu’an, then we carryout the investigation using the situational story method. then we select one class as theintervention class, the other one as the control class.Through data analysis and investigation of the intervention effect, we get thefollowing result:(1)The emotion recognition ability of4~5years old children in country alsoneed to improve, especially the fear of emotional identification;(2)There is no significant difference for4~5years old e children in countryareas to take emotion regulation in different emotional intensity, different scenes anddifferent emotional adjustment object;(3)The group activities make the young children’s emotion recognition abilityhas been improved who in the intervention class, especially the fear of emotionalidentification significantly improved;(4)The group activities make the young children take more " self-assertion " inthe scene need to advocate,and more "self-inhibition" in the scene need to inhibit; (5)The group activities make the young children in intervention class to adoptless “impulsive behavior "and" dependent adult "emotion regulation;(6)The intervention programs improve the4~5years old children’s emotionregulation developing, the intervention achieved better effect.
