| Course evaluation is an important link in the teaching process, an important basis for the school to assess the student and the main method of checking teachers’teaching effect and reflecting the quality of teaching. Reforming the evaluation system of ldeological and Political Theory Course plays a significant role in enhancing the teaching effect of this course, and achieving the teaching goal.In this paper, based on varieties of researches on teaching and evaluation of the Ideological and Political Theory Course by the domestic scholars, we summarized the evolution of China’s evaluation system of this course in the new era and introduced the main task of different developing stages. We also theoretically analyzed the evaluation system of this course, and summed up the following basic principles:scientific, specific, effective, practical and cooperative. Furthermore, we analyzed the properties and characteristics of Ideological and Political Theory Course evaluation in colleges and universities.Under the background of current evaluation system reform of Ideological and Political Theory Course, this paper analyzes the specific circumstances of the survey combined with current situation of Shandong University (Weihai) except for the theoretical analysis, and come to the conclusion that there are still some problems in the evaluation system of this course. Some suggestions for further deepening the reform of the evaluation system are put forward based on different reasons of the problems:1. adherence to the final written examination to ensure the students to master the basic theory;2. attention should be paid to the students’competence;3. focus of the evaluation method should be on the evaluation of the process;4. the evaluation of practical ability should be strengthened;5. the varieties of incentives in the evaluation mechanism should be developed. |
