Analysis And Strategies For Cultivating The Habit Of Chinese Reading In Higher Grades Of Primary School Of Urban Zone Of Chongqing Municipality

Reading is not only a very important part for the accomplishment of good Chinese, butalso a way to acquire knowledge and improve ability. Nowadays, in China, one of the mostvaluable project in education is to study how to cultivate a good habit of reading, which isalso the main part of language teaching. The critical period of fostering living and learninghabits is in kindergartens and primary schools,especially in higher grades of primary schools.However, reading has not been given enough attention in the Chinese teaching. Based on thecurrent situation,this article aims to put forward some training strategies through the analysisof status quo and the reasons.This body consists of three parts.The first part mainly talk aboutits relevant concepts, composition, characteristics, etc. The second part emphasizes thesignificance of developing a good reading habit and analyzes students’ Chinese reading habitsof urban zone of Chongqing Municipality after investigation. The third part gives some adviceto improve reading ability. In conclusion, a good reading habit will inspire students to lovelearning and life.We do hope that this article can arouse students,parents and teachers’ moreattention, meanwhile, provide some help for students to cultivate a good reading habit.
