With the development of national economies, the use of modern, high-techachievements in traffic and improvement of people’s living standards, modern tourism hasbeen developing rapidly, tourism has become an important economic sector of manycountries. Regional tourism has become an important subject of contemporary tourism,regional tourism competitiveness study at home and abroad. Kashgar is very rich intourism resources, tourism industry begun to take shape, but facing the threat of stagnationin recent years, Kashgar tourism, tourist attractions planning lack of creativity, thetraditional market share is declining, the slow development of new source markets, theseproblems have been affect the sustainable development of tourism in Kashi.Studies Kashi and even Xinjiang tourism competitiveness are mostly from the city tostart, less research on the competitiveness of regional tourism in Xinjiang, I tried startingfrom a new perspective to draw on the city tourism competitiveness based on.Summarizedon the basis of summing up the theory of tourism competitiveness, the factors affecting thecompetitiveness of regional tourism, the evaluation of the model were analyzed. Kashi,built by the seven factors and28indicators of tourism competitiveness evaluation indexsystem. An empirical analysis of Urumqi, Turpan, in Bavaria, Aksu, Hotan, Ili underCounty, Altay, Hami and Kashi by Kashi tourism development status and influencingfactors analysis, the use of principal component analysis, come to Kashi in these areastourism competitiveness ranking. A comparative study based on the location of the rankingwith other regions, pointing out that the main problems of Kashgar tourism industry in thedevelopment process, clear Kashi tourism development goals and image positioning.Strengthen and integrate tourism resources and innovative tourism products, improve thetourism infrastructure and personnel development, and finally Kashgar Tourismcompetitiveness measures.
