Tester is the most important resource in server testing Team. Testing team isplaying the most important role in the Foxconn server products development process.The ability of tester is the key factor to server products’ quality. Although companytreasure server testing team, the excellent testing engineers would like to changeanother job because their position and payment can’t be synchronously promotedwith his ceaselessly enhancing testing ability. Meanwhile, server testing team’sworking efficiency is not very high just because they fail to summarize theassociated testing experience timely and systematically to form a working template,so each of them has to fish for experience; Besides, current performance appraisalmanagement pattern, which doesn’t take ideal effect on employees’ performancepromotion, it is one big drawback in server testing department; Training indepartment can’t achieve the expected affects, the majority reflect that it can’tcombine with work demand and personal hobby, so this kind of training, wasting agreat deal resources, become another disadvantage.From current normal human resources management, such as yearlyperformance rating, training, salary excitation, staff’s career management etc., thesemanagement patterns are exist limitation. The existing problems can’t be resolved intesting team. This paper study proper qualification management carrying onFoxconn test team by analyzing objectively the existing problems of Foxconnhuman resource and server test team’s characteristic. Qualification management isdifferent from other kind of management method. Its innovation is reflected inbreaking through normal human resource management method. It completely sets out from human being development and put each person and team in win-winsituation.Firstly, this paper elaborates necessity of building up qualification managementin server test team by analyzing deeply the current status. By building up the road ofstaff’s career development and qualification management grade standard, let allkinds of talented people in this team can choose a career direction which meet theirown characteristics and technical expertise, to develop freely. Secondly, to form aneffective drive and traction for employees’ occupation development throughcertification of qualification grade, and to promote employees to make progressconstantly on the established development road of occupation through qualificationstandard traction and qualification certification push. The others, this paper analyzethe implement and application of qualification management in Foxconn server’s testteam, including qualification management’s planning, setting up process,development and certification. And discuss the exact process of career development,training management, team building, salary driving. Finally, evaluate qualificationmanagement,propose the exact improvement action from the angle of modelstandardization and look ahead following-up problems.So qualification management model is built up by studying and investigatingdeeply and considering the fact problems of server’s test team. It is operational andpractical. By implementing the qualification management in Foxconn server testingteam so as to get through the employee developing gateway, build a managementplatform which take qualification as core, cultivate and enhance our department’score competitiveness. It provides the step which can be seen and can be reached forFoxconn sever testing team, and make the big progress and development inimproving tester’s ability and professional talents.
