Migrant workers training is a prominent issue in the urbanization process in China. Training of migrant workers can promote the employment of migrant workers, improve the income of migrant workers, narrowing the income gap between urban and rural areas, thereby speeding up China’s urbanization process, and promote economic and social development. At present, China’s migrant worker training shows the state of supply and demand imbalance. On one hand, because of the deviation of government performance evaluation standards and the lack of investment makes the training provided by the government be a simple training, and because of the strong liquidity of migrant workers and weak sense of belonging makes the enterprise is unwilling to conduct in-depth systems training to migrant workers; on the other hand, with the improvement of China’s overall level of education, migrant workers require high quality training. The number, structure, form and quality of migrant workers training supply, cannot meet the actual needs of migrant workers. Migrant workers training cannot reach the supply and demand equilibrium. Therefore, it is practical and significant to analysis the current situation of China’migrant workers training to find out the reasons of demand and supply imbalance, and then make relevant policy recommendationsThis article absorbs the essence of the results of previous studies, studies the issue as a quasi-public goods equilibrium problem. Through the data of investigation and constructing models, the study makes an empirical analysis on the development status and actual problems of supply-demand of migrant workers training service in China. On this basis, this article explores policy recommendations to solve the supply and demand imbalances. The thesis is composed of four parts. The preface introduces the whole study. It describes the background, defines the concepts, presents the framework and main points, and reviews the related literature. The second part analysis the influencing factors of migrant workers training, the supply mechanism, and the necessary conditions to reach the state of supply and demand balance. Then, this article makes an empirical analysis using the data which is collected in Shandong Province by author. Through this analysis, we can conclude that China’s migrant workers training is a large number of low quality training, and we should improve the training structure and effect. In order to improve the satisfaction of migrant workers, government, employers, training institutions and other social organizations should coordinate to improve training quality.
