The concept of Corporate Social Responsibility originated in the west countries is onthe rise quietly in our country as an irresistible trend, the society have alreadytransformed the call for Corporate Social Responsibility into one kind of concrete action.The core of Corporate Social Responsibility is to urge enterprises to take active measuresto promote the interests of the whole society.During the past several tens years, manyproblems such as environmental pollution, laborer trouble, laborer discriminationhave frequently happened. Our country will become the priority area of the wholeCorporate Social Responsibility action. Therefore, the research of Corporate SocialResponsibility has pretty urgent theoretical and practical significance.There are two purposes of researching this topic. The first purpose is to verify thenecessity of performing Corporate Social Responsibility. The second is to present thesystem to promote the level of Corporate Social Responsibility in our country. Thethought of this paper is around these two purposes. The major questions contain whatis Corporate Social Responsibility, why to perform Corporate Social Responsibility and how topromote the level of Corporate Social Responsibility in our country. The content of the paper isaround these three questions.Based on the depth analysis of the predecessors’ study, this paper verifies thenecessity of performing Corporate Social Responsibility by applying the theory ofcorporate image、corporate culture、human capital and sustainable development. Thesefour theories demonstrate the value of performing Corporate Social Responsibilityrespectively from external、culture、internal and development perspective.Theanalysis of interactive relationship between theories is to answer why the enterpriseshave to perform the action of Corporate Social Responsibility. Through the comparativestudy between China and America, the paper elucidates the current situation ofCorporate Social Responsibility and the direction of improvement. According to thecurrent situation of our country, the paper put forward the strategy system whichcontains the laws、government、consumers、entrepreneurs and social organizations.The law is the bottom line for enterprises to perform their social responsibilities. Thegovernment is the main strength to guide the direction of social responsibility. Consumer is theendogenous force to promote Corporate Social Responsibility. Entrepreneur is the directdriving force in cultivating the consciousness of social responsibility. Socialorganization is the important strength to improve the level of social responsibility.
