Study On Electrical Energy Input-output Efficiency In Hefei Industrial Enterprises Above Designated Size

As a kind of secondary energy with high quality, efficient, clean and convenient,Electrical energy is an important base of energy. At present, China as the world’s largestenergy consumer, electrical power structure mainly from coal, electric power industryemissions account for China’s carbon dioxide emissions to40%, energy saving andemission reduction in China brings the huge pressure on the environment. According to theChina Electricity Council released the2007to2010statistical data of the second industry,industrial consumption accounted for more than70%of the total electricity consumption,has been the national largest electricity consumers. Therefore, research on the industrialenterprises electrical energy input-output efficiency is of significance on energy-saving,emission reduction and sustainable development.In this paper,1492industrial enterprises above designated size with electrical energyconsumption data are picked out from the second national economic census in Hefei assamples. These enterprises are divided according to industrial classification standards.Electrical energy consumption, other energy, assets, and employees are chosen as the inputindex, CO2and operating income as output index, the electrical energy input-outputefficiency including technical efficiency, purely technical efficiency and radial efficiencyfor these industries are analyzed by CCR, BCC, CCR-I based on electricity saving andCCR-O based on electricity saving models, and inefficient DMU is improved by projection.Furthermore, the factors of electrical energy input-output efficiency are analyzed on themethod of regression analysis using EViews software. Base on these, the references areprovided to master the firms’ electrical power consumption comprehensively and accurately,conduct the firms’ consumption reasonably, and take the industrial way to the sustainabledevelopment of energy in Hefei.
