Along with the changes of economic environment and aviationoperation model, airport industry worldwide including Airport Group A isexperiencing a big transformation. Enterprisation and integration will becomethe trend in the future, and airport is no longer a monopoly service provider.This trend influences Airport Group A and other management institutesdirectly and requires them to establish development strategy based on theirown capabilities, combining business units scientifically, strengtheninginternal management, enhancing market-oriented operation level andachieving world-class operation efficiency and service quality. Thistransformation also influences the change of organization culture, so AirportGroup A indeed needs the construction of corporate culture to enhancecompetitive edge and increase enterprise vitality. Core value is thefoundation of corporate culture, therefore the study of the core value ofAirport Group A in transitional period is of practical importance.Round the topic of the core value of Airport Group A during itstransitional period, on the basis of current research achievements, we carriedout on-the-spot research on Airport Group A. In this dissertation, we mainlyuse such study methods as combination of theory and practice, macro and micro, quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis, comparison, positiveanalysis and normal analysis. Based on the analysis of the data collected, westudy the system of reformation and management strategy renovation of theairport management institute in order to maintain sustainable developmentunder the ever changing social, economy and market environments.This dissertation is mainly composed of five parts:Part one-focuses on the historical development and current status ofAirport Group A’s culture (Chapter Ⅱ). Industryfeature leads to theuncertainty of position and value orientation. During the recent40years’development of Airport A, there exist three-stage organization culturesincluding militarization management, executive management and enterprise&government syncretism management successively. Organizational climatesurvey shows current organization culture has great internal demand forreform.Part two-analysis of the Airport Group A’s culture and strategies undernew situation (Chapter Ⅲ).The Foundation of A Group’s two strategic plansis the inevitable choice to accommodate changes of internal and externalenvironment. However, strategic plan’s fundamental change shows muchdiscordance with the formal culture of monopoly operation. So the key totransformation is if we could cultivate brand new and inspiring culture to fitthe strategies.Part three-dissection of the foundation of corporate culture reform andcore values (Chapter Ⅳ).Core value is the cornerstone of corporate cultureand the spirit of enterprise. Benchmark experiences further show theimportance and construction method of core values. Corporate environment and value survey reminds us that many employees consider A Group is lackof distinct corporate culture and core values.Part four-explores the core values of Airport Group A from strategy-guided, history-inherited and external-coordination aspects (Chapter Ⅴ).Behavior requirements from strategies and key success factors, employeecase study, organizational climate survey and external clients’ questionnaireprovide important facts and viewpoints support for the study. Core values aresummarized as: customer-oriented, coordination and win-win, performance-guided, and teamwork inspired.Part five-discussion on the internalization of A Group’s core values(Chapter Ⅵ).Core value is just the basis point of corporate strategicmanagement. During the course of internalization, we should pay attention tofour issues. When designing the penetration route, we should define corevalues as employees’ behavior, and strengthen them by human resourcemanagement tools. In the entire course of formation and cultivation of corevalues, management level’s practice is the primary driving power.Based on the essence of corporate culture and core values, plus thecharacteristics of Airport Group A, this dissertation puts forward sometheoretical basis and practical guidance for the construction of domesticairport enterprises culture.
