To carry out the cultivated land fertility evaluation, can not only revealsthe land productivity, but also to improve the protection of cultivated land, and havean important significance in the long term about realizing agricultural sustainabledevelopment. Compared with the process of cultivated land fertility evaluation,Comparative Analysis on the different method of cultivated land fertility evaluationand reasonable verification of the Evaluation results were few study, especially thelatter. Therefore, In this paper, we used gray relational analysis-fuzzy evaluationmethod for the evaluation of arable soil fertility at first, then analyzed the consistencyof its result with that of the traditional AHP (Analytic hierarchy process)-Fuzzyclustering analysis, then proposed the reasonableness test method of soil fertilityevaluation results which based on the distribution of food production levels. TakeXiuwu county, Henan province as an example conduct Empirical research, in order toimprove objectivity and accuracy of the cultivated land fertility evaluation results,providing a reference for the deepening of the application on the evaluation results.The main conclusions are as follows:1. Comparative analysis the evaluation results of typical evaluation methods. Onthe basis of the study about the cultivated land fertility evaluation method, the twocommon methods of evaluation results about Analytic Hierarchy Process-fuzzymathematics and gray relational analysis-fuzzy clustering method weresuperimposed, and analyze the consistency of the two kinds of evaluation results,mainly from the spatial analysis of these two indicators about area consistent rate andevaluation unit consistent rate.2. Proposed to fertility evaluation results testing methods based on grain yieldgrade distribution. Then we overlay the concept yield grade distribution map andcultivated land fertility evaluation map and then start topology analysis, finally theevaluation method to test cultivated land fertility is put forward. Combined with thecultivated land fertility evaluation practice experience and agricultural productionmanagement expertise, take identity rate for level area as an area of the judgment standard. The standard is divided for poor、less poor、medium、good、superior andso on. If identity rate for level area is good or excellent(Ia>70), believe that theevaluation results are reasonable; Otherwise, the cultivated land fertility evaluationmust be re-evaluation, until it achieved the accepted level.3. Methods application. The result show the area consistent rate of the twoevaluation methods is84.68%and evaluation unit consistent rate is87.39%. Theconsistent rate of single level evaluation unit is more than equal to74.77%and thespatial distribution is basically identical with these results above. It indicates theevaluation results of the two methods are relatively approximate. The area consistentrate of evaluation result of grey correlation analysis and grain yield grade distributionis74.29%, and that of the result of AHP and grain yield grade distribution is78.15%.The result is fine so it is accepted. The result of grey correlation analysis is similar tothat of traditional AHP and it can reflect grain yield better than AHP. But the result ofAHP is slightly superior to grey correlation analysis.
