In the energy increasingly shortage situation, the coal industry as a high energyconsumption industry, brought higher environment consumption. China is in a rapid developmentstage, along with the social economic growth, the amount of coal demand is rising, at the same timeincreased energy consumption and environmental emissions. Therefore, the development of lowcarbon economy and the influence of the energy conservation and emission reduction is of greatsignificance.Based on this background, through the comparison of the model, the LEAP model and sceneanalysis, numerical simulations from2010to2050different situations of coal industry in ShanxiProvince energy demand and carbon emissions. We first analyzes the current situation of thedevelopment of coal industry in Shanxi Province content analysis, the model is divided intoacquisition department and shipping department, constructs the shanxi coal industry-energy-environment model. Then through the SPSS regression analysis and prediction of shanxi coalproduction and amount of traffic, calculate the department’s energy intensity and emission intensity,complete model parameter setting and calculation. Then this basis respectively, the acquisition andtransportation departments scene Settings, through the LEAP model simulation different policiesand measures for energy conservation and emission reduction effect, and through the calculationresults are compared and analyzed, mining shanxi coal industry of carbon emission reductionpotential. Calculated results show that, compared with basic situation, the development situation ofthe design of energy demand and environmental emissions all have different degrees of reducecarbon emissions, the logistics huge potential. From the point of reducing carbon emissions inshanxi coal industry, the development policy Suggestions are propsed in the paper.
