Chu Pier Town, The Factors Influencing Farmers' Income And Countermeasure Research

Located in the south of Luozhuang District, Linyi City, Chudun Town, is next to thedowntown of Linyi and lies in the alluvial plain of Yihe River and Wuhe River. It hasgeologically excellent land, fertile soil, and rich water resources, with Wulihe River, SouthShuhe River, and Picang（the abbreviation of Pizhou City and Cangshan District）Floodwayrunning through north and south. Its main grain is wheat and corn, and the economic crop isburdock, garlic and so on. It is the traditional agricultural town with planting area about tenthousands mu（1mu equals to666.67square meters）, becoming the granary and vegetablebase of the South Shandong Province together with Cangshan Town on the west.Firstly, the thesis generalizes the current situation of farmers’ income at home and abroad.Then, This thesis analyzes the inner and outer environment which affects the farmers’income of Chudun Town. Based on the above, this thesis studies the chances and challenges,advantages and disadvantages of Chudun Town on developing its economy and improving thefarmers’ income. Finally, Chudun Town could improve the agricultural production andoperating income by making use of the land to the most; raise non-agricultural income bybroaden the industrial economy and the service industries; insure the sustained increase of theurban residents by lessening farmers’ burden to add their income.
