A Study On Spatial Form Of Villages Of Qinhe River Valley Under Ze-Lu Merchants Group Affected

Rural settlements is a system of social life, combine of space, cultural, and economic,it passes through a specific natural environment and historical background, shows adistinct regional,witnesses the Human long-term adaptation and utilization of natural,carries the history of people’s production and living,is known as the "pearl of thetraditional culture" and "national treasure of folk collection ".Culture is a way of life,ancient villages carry special and distinctive regional culture of different areas, the villageitself is a reflection of regional culture. Zelu Merchants group, as a branch of ShanxiMerchants, is a pioneer in Shanxi Merchants’ development, is a section of regional historyin sociology, and breeds numerous ancient villages around the Taihang Mountains. Theancient villages, along Qinhe River Basin influenced by Zelu Merchants group, showsspecial morphological characteristics and spatial variation.This thesis bases on some basic theories, such as History of regional social,HumanGeography, study of settlement space, and so on, chooses the region’s historical andenvironmental background of the Zelu Merchants group as research clues, treat the spatialform of the ancient villages along Qinhe River Basin as research object, to confirm thehistorical status and the influence to the spatial form of the traditional settlement insoutheastern Shangxi region of Zelu Merchants group.
