Servo hydraulic cylinder is the key component of an electro-hydraulic servo control system,and its application is very extensive. Large Servo hydraulic cylinder is the core equipment ofrolling mill hydraulic automatic gauge control system, but it has high capability of bearing bigload, short stroke, high response frequency, and the fault diagnosis is difficult. In order to reducethe failure rate of equipments and save maintenance costs of the enterprise, it is necessary tomake off-line testing for servo cylinder’s static and dynamic performance.Because of the result of the test accuracy is not high è it can not be fully conform to theactual situation of servo hydraulic cylinder according to the current test method of servohydraulic cylinder. The further research work has been done based on the current test method inthis paper. The main contents are as follows.First of all, to collect references at home and abroad of servo hydraulic cylinder test methodand system of information literature, and this paper briefly introduces the servo hydrauliccylinder test content as needed. Using hydraulic system simulation software mainly comparativeanalysis the advantages and disadvantages between the three testing methods in dynamicperformance of servo hydraulic cylinder test.Secondly, establishing the frame deformation test method of the hydraulic systemsimulation model, and analyzing the pipeline which use for connecting the electro-hydraulicservo valve with the servo hydraulic cylinder parameters (material, length, diameter and tubewall thickness), a steel loading frame stiffness and the gas contenting in hydraulic oil percentagewill effect the performance of the test or not.Finally, designing and developing a set of monitoring and control system for the framedeformation test method by using the Siemens PLC and configuration software.
