With the supply shortage of energy sources and the serious environmental pollution, solving the energy shortage and effectively controlling environmental pollution have become two difficult problems around the world, so unearthing renewable energy is imminent. Biogas is a potential clean energy source that is formed by biotransformation, and it can be used for fuel instead of straw and lithospermum, which would not only reduce consumption of non-renewable energy sources, such as coal, gas, but also reduce the emission of poisonous gases, such as CO2, SO2. Biogas fermentation technology is used to dispose of biomass wastes that include livestock and poultry manure, crop straw, kitchen wastes, organic wastewater, sewage runoff and so on, which is one of the renewable energy technology developed energetically in our country. Therefore, using biomass wastes rationally and accelerating the industrial biogas development are effective ways in solving energy shortage and decreasing environmental pollution in our country. This paper aimed at designing automatic monitoring system for biogas fermentation that has friendly man-machine interface to real-time on-line record and monitor parameters of fermentation process for small biogas users. The main influence factors of biogas production process were studied by using tropical waste resources to create biogas. The system would monitor temperature, pressure, flow, PH value, main gas composition (CH4,H2S,CO2), which combined hardware features of associated sensors, transmitter, PLC, touch screen and computer with industry configuration software Force-control6.1.The system had the following advantages:would achieve local and remote control function, would work in automatic or manual mode and ensure the real-time monitoring records of technological parameter, which would not only decrease labor intensity in the operation, but also make the fermentation process keep the best controllable working status. Finally, the system may improve efficiency and manufacturing processes, and provide real-time or historical operating data which were used to analyze the fermentation technology in biogas production process by researchers.
