The Exploration Of Cultural Connotation And Social Function As Yangjiabu’s Board Wood Engraving New-year Paintings

Yangjiabu’s port woodblock New Year pictures is the unique folk art form of China.It has a profound connotation of cultural which has had effected on the people’s life. Based on the field survey as the main research method, the author conduct the research which is in the use of New Year pictures and investigate the public cognition to the New Year pictures as the Yangjiabu and L village.The author analyze the function of the New Year from the perspective of sociology.This paper consists of four parts which has introduction, body, conclusion, references.The introduction part includes research purpose, research summary and research method.Body part is divided into three chapters. The first chapter:It introuces the villege of Yangjiabu and the history of painting. It describes the village environment from the natural environment, economic structure and cultural environment. The second chapter:lt analyses cultural connotation from the new production techniques and inheritance.It based on the information collected by field investigation. The third chapter:It is mainly to explore the functions, which analyse social functions of the folk custom as the breakthrough point from the paradigm of dominant and recessive functions. And it is devided five aspects,such as economy, enlightenment interaction practical and communicative from two aspects of subjective motive and objective results.Epilogue part is the content of the full text summary and reflection.
