Instructional design of teaching Chinese as a foreign language is the practice to which the theories and methods of instructional design are applied. It is of vital significance to improve the teaching effect by the scientific teaching activities of teachers who are guided by the excellent instructional design. The main course of teaching Chinese as a foreign language is the integrated curriculum which directly involves Chinese study of the beginners. Thus, instructional design of the integrated curriculum is an important component of teaching Chinese as a foreign language; and it is emphasis to increase the quality of teaching in the integrated curriculum for the students improving their knowledge of Chinese and capabilities of communicating in Chinese as well.This paper mainly focuses on instructional design of teaching Chinese as a foreign language in primer stage. It is starting from the theoretical foundation of instructional design, and systematically analyzes the basis of instructional design of teaching Chinese as a foreign language and the reasons and processes that are involved, in order to increase the ability of instructional design. Using the article of Peking Opera, I understand by watch, but not listen to as an example, I analyzed this text systematically and made a specific instructional design. This text is divided into6lessons, and the difficulties of the text are distributed. I try to penetrate the cultural teaching into language teaching, and design reasonable teaching activities at the same time; meanwhile, flexible teaching methods are also used to active the atmosphere of the class and reverse the students from accepting passively to participating voluntarily.Teaching activities of every lesson are interpreted in instructional design, and my own teaching principles and methods are also presented in practice.Reflection on the teaching activities is in progress afterwards, which is benefit to both improve the advantages of teaching and organize, summarize and disseminate the effective experience in Chinese teaching, in order to provide the references for further teaching activies.
