A Report On Interpretation Practice Of Hanas LNG Project

This thesis is a report on the5-month practice of the interpreter in Ningxia Hanas Natural Gas Co, Ltd, which pays attention to the difficulties encountered in the practice and corresponding solutions.The report consists of four chapters: background of the practice, process of the practice, difficulties and corresponding solutions in the practice, as well as the conclusion. The first chapter is an introduction to the background of the practice; in the second chapter, the interpreter sketches out the preparation before the practice, contents of the practice and interpreting techniques used in the practice; the third chapter is the main point of the report, describing the difficulties and offering corresponding solutions in the practice; finally, the gains and reflection of the interpreter are expressed in the last chapter.In this report, the interpreter makes a summary on the pre-interpreting preparation and analyzes the phonetic features of Indian English, Malaysian English and Philippine English, as well as the methods of coping with stress. Through the report, the interpreter reviews and summarizes the practice to improve her interpreting performance and hopes this report can offer reference for the students without interpreting experience on project site.
