Translation Project Management In Interpreting Practice

With the development of large-scale projects and scientific researches, the translation industry is growing in the direction of professionalization and interacts more and more with other subjects, which inevitably calls for professional translation project management. And the emergence and development of translation project management correspondingly promote the progress of translation industry, with the knowledge of project management playing a great role.In the translation market, non-literary translation, especially oral interpretation, is in high demands, and project management is well suited to the systematization and professionalization of engineering interpretation.This paper, which focuses on the application of project management in practical oral interpretation, consists of four parts. The first part is a brief introduction to the background, aim and methodology adopted of the practical research of this paper, the second part gives an account of the knowledge of translation project management and the connection between project management and oral interpretation, the third part is about the application of project management in oral interpretation, and the last part is the summary.
