A Research On People’s Livelihood Of Nature Reserve Communities Of Guangxi Forestry System

Nature reserve communities closely link with nature reserves, which have important significance to resource protection and management of protected areas. surrounding communities contribute to nature reserve, at the same time, which are facing a lot of people’s livelihood.To handle the relationship between nature reserve communities and nature reserves is of great significance. In order to improve people’s livelihood of nature reserve communities Guangxi forestry system and promote the harmonious development of reserve and the community,this paper researches on people’s livelihood of nature reserve communities of Guangxi forestry system.The questionnaire survey, semi-structured interviews, field observation and PRA were using in collecting the sample data from the representative of nature reserve of Guangxi forestry system communities.And then the sample data were analyzed and summarized through descriptive statistics analysis and principal component factor analysis, which reached conclusions on the classifications,the limiting factors,the improvement principle and countermeasures of people’s livelihood of nature reserve communities Guangxi forestry system. the main results are as following:1.People’s livelihood of nature reserve communities of Guangxi forestry system are the people’s basic needs,the income,the education,the infrastructure,the social rights and interests protection,the medical and health care.2.The constrained factors on improving People’s livelihood of nature reserve communities of Guangxi forestry system are including the residents’ low quality, the government’s negative impact on the community,the poor natural environment, and the establishment of nature reserves. 3.The improvement of People’s livelihood of nature reserve communities of Guangxi forestry system needs the efforts of the government, protected areas and communities.4.The improved strategies on People’s livelihood issues of nature reserve communities of Guangxi forestry system are including increasing farmers’ income,strengthening infrastructure construction,education priority development,developing cultural undertakings,improving the level of public health,establishing a sound social security system.
