Comparative Resesrch On The Civil Service Examination System In Mainland China And In Taiwan

Along with the establishment and perfection of civil servant recruitment examination system, The national civil servant examination from scratch, the enrollment from the original thousands, increased to6consecutive years breakthrough million. With the soaring number of the examinees, civil servant examination has gained widely attention. And the examinations in recruitment for public service became a more and more popular topic in society.This paper mainly studies on the civil service examination system in China Mainland. Through research on the concept of the civil service examination system, this study makes the system flow and the research dimension clear. Viewing the civil service examination system of China Taiwan as a special case in China, and by studying the historical evolution of the civil service examination system in China Mainland and Taiwan, China, the author tried to summarize the further development of the civil service examination system in China. In two levels the author compared the current examination system of civil service between China Mainland and in China Taiwan, formal rules and informal constraints, trying to find out the disadvantages and solutions in today’s civil service examination system of China, then find out the development and improvement of the direction of the system.Meanwhile, the scientific and reasonable parts in the civil service examination system in China Taiwan can use for reference to improve China Mainland civil servant examination system in many aspects include the system of laws and regulations, agency setup, validity and reliability of the examination and the supervision system.
