Research On The New Generation Of People Of Migrant Workers In The Process Of Government Action

With the economic and society’s sustainably development, the new generation migrant workers’ citizenization has been an essential part of urbanization. However, there are quite a lot dilemmas during the process. As the performer of public authority and the representative of public interest, the government’s promotion is not only related to new generation migrant workers’ interest but also the realization of social fairness. The main expression of government’s promotion includes supplying policy and public service, safeguarding the rights and interests of new generation migrant workers’ rights and interests. As a result of China’s long-standing urban-rural dual structure in our country and the value of administration, the government’s action has some insufficient on solving the problem of migrant workers, including the lack of system, supervise and public service. All of these directly restricting the citizenization of new generation migrant workers and may lead to a series of social problems.This article puts forward some measures on improving the government’s behavior under the guidance of the theory of good governance and social justice, and also elaborating the reflection and defects of government action. In order to improve the government’s behavior, the government needs to have a correct understanding on the citizenization of new generation migrant workers and innovate the appraisal mechanism of local officials. Then deepening the reform of urban and rural dual system, which contains the reform of household registration system, employment and social security system. At the same time, the government needs to innovating the government’s management model, strengthening the service consciousness and forming pluralism participation pattern. It’s very important for government to guide other subjects jointly promote the new generation migrant workers’citizenization.
