The Relations Among Emotional Intelligence, Coping Style, Psychological Harmony In Prisoners

Proposed this goal, explained our party and government in the currentprocess of building a socialist harmonious society, the greater emphasis on spiritualcivilization, people pay more attention to psychological needs. Psychological concept ofharmony was put forth, it caused problems discussed academic theory and structure ofpsychological connotation of harmony, empirical research questionnaire and discussedthe preparation of psychological harmony and harmonious situation nationals of differentpsychological groups also appeared in large numbers. Some scholars have pointed outthat mental harmony is a catalyst of psychological research in China, indicating thatpsychological research has important implications for our harmonious psychologicaldevelopment and social harmony and progress.Psychological Harmony prisoners how? What are the psychological factors affectingthe harmonious situation affected? Research on these issues is not only a matter ofwhether they can successfully transform anew, but also related to their ability to integrateinto society after serving their sentence, could become a positive energy society.However, this problem is not cause for concern.In this study, the five prisons in Hebei region, a total of800prisoners as subjects,570male inmates,156female inmates to study the use of prison inmates questionnairemethod of emotional intelligence, coping style and mental harmony correlation resultsare as follows:(1) Psychological harmony prisoners generally low levels of psychologicalharmonious situation is not optimistic. And there is a big difference between prison staffand harmonious level of individual psychology.(2)There is a very significant correlationship between the emotional intelligent andthe harmony level of the prisoner. Emotional intelligent is a very important factor affecting the psychological harmony which predicting50.3%of the psychologicalharmony.(3) The prisoner’s psychological harmony and coping style in the remarkablecorrelation, there is a positive correlation between psychological harmony and copingstyle of positive coping style, psychological harmony and negative coping style isnegatively related to. The smaller effect of coping style on mental harmony, but hascertain prediction.(4) Gender, age, place of residence, family status, family income level is animportant factor affecting prisoners of emotional intelligence.(5) Gender, age, place of residence, marital status, education level, family incomelevel is an important factor affecting prisoners of coping style.(6) Sex, place of residence, education level, family status, family income levelaffecting prisoners of psychological harmony.
