The prose teaching has always been regarded as one of the most important part inChinese language teaching. The prose style can satisfy readers’ eyes and emotions, andthe readers can enjoy a pleasant feeling from it. Thus, the prose is favored widely bymiddle school teachers and students. Therefore, it is an integral part of language teachingmaterials. But at the same time, prose teaching is a difficult point in middle schoollanguage teaching. For a long time, many different kinds of problems of the proseteaching exist and the teachers and students all have problems, such as the old-fashionedmode of prose teaching, utilitarian mind from the teachers to students because of collegeentrance examination, a small amount of students’ reading, Missing ability ofpersonalization to interpret text, etc. Teaching effect is not obvious and the qualities ofthe students have not been significantly improved. Therefore, this author thinks that it isnecessary to explore the prose teaching strategies, hoping the teachers and students canget some benefits. This paper can be divided into three chapters as follows:Chapter One: The first part refers to a basic overview of prose, including the conceptof prose, types; the second part is to write prose in middle school textbooks; the third partmainly talks about the educational function of prose.Chapter Two: Prose teaching situation and reason analysis in Middle school.Chapter Three: Prose teaching strategies in Middle school, including new curriculumrequirements and prose teaching.This paper mainly analyses the problems of current prose teaching and learning in themiddle school and the finds the reasons for them. Besides, it attempts to advocate some feasibility strategies on prose teaching in middle school based on the theory of variousadvanced teaching ideas, teaching methods and psychology and other related theories.Through it, the students’ prose reading ability and aesthetic ability will be improved.Meanwhile, it will endow a greater humanistic care to students, and improve the students’humanistic quality so that the students can achieve a higher knowledge and spirit level atthe same time.
