In order to enhance our country primary and secondary school teachers’ educational technology ability, promote teachers’ professional development, in2005the Ministry of Education launched" national primary and secondary school teachers’ educational technology capacity building projects". The Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region started in2006to start the implementation of primary and secondary school teachers’ educational technology ability training (primary), each alliance city Bureau of education be carried out this work. At present the region using the training is the main form of centralized training, aiming at the centralized training deficiencies and training effect cannot long wait for a problem, the author puts forward in our city to carry out the educational technology ability training. Through interviews, observation method, questionnaire method, focus on training and training were studied, such as the form of training, training content, training effectiveness, training the enthusiasm of teachers and other aspects of the comparison, find out the existing problems and shortcomings of the school-based training, to learn the advantages of centralized training and experience analysis of the educational technology ability, improving school-based training measures. The purpose of the study is to improve the effectiveness of educational technology training. Through the study we found:and institutions focused educational technology ability training, school-based training has the following advantages:one is to better meet the actual needs of teacher development, two is effective in improving teachers’ practical ability, the three is to enhance the teachers training of initiative and enthusiasm, four is the training method of relative flexible, five is to resolve the contradictions between teachers, lower training costs and so on. Of course, the current school-based training also exists some problems and deficiencies, such as school-based training of teachers is relatively weak, part of training teachers understanding does not reach the designated position, education technology school based training for the lack of detailed planning and so on. In view of the current educational technology training and existing problems the author puts forward the corresponding measures:one is the leader takes seriously, improve knowledge, enhance the enthusiasm of the trainees, two is a system of planning, sound system, security training smoothly, three increase investment, carry out practice and research activities, fan out from point to area ultimately improving overall, four is to enrich the training form, using the mixed teaching, five is to improve the teaching reflection, training and evaluation, six prominent school-based training self organization and so on. We think and centralized training, educational technology ability training is a more effective training ways, proposed in the city to promote.
