Context:In twenty-first Century due to the rapid development of human society pursuit, full of opportunity and challenge in the development of human society, so the development of educational system more than any moment needs of high-quality, high-level scientific and technological talents. But the present geography education present situation and the demand to the talent also exist between the very large gap. Geography is the study of human survival and development of a variety of natural and humanistic environment, and human environment relationship science. Its research field is very extensive, not only refers to natural science and social science, is a comprehensive discipline. China’s famous scientist Hsue-shen Tsien called it a" open complex giant system". As the old saying goes" Know astronomical knowledge of Geography "embodies the broad and profound, therefore in the teaching of geography, geography teachers should ask be learned in books, read a wide range of various related disciplines. The current high school geography subject, the content is rich, no matter what kind of teaching material, either in physical geography, human geography is still, and a rich historical knowledge, and even difficult to completely remove the knowledge of which strictly for historical and geographical separation, which embodies the people often said "the history to break up", therefore, appropriate historical knowledge will be merged in the geography teaching to understand the meaning of geographical knowledge, increase students’ interest of studying geography, improve teaching efficiency, active classroom atmosphere and coping with the college entrance examination comprehensive examination, has the important practical significance.
