A Study On The Basic Education In The Minority-gathering Area During Building An Overall Well-off Society

Based on the theories of education, political science and education of the minorities, this thesis discussed some problems in the basic education of the minority-gathering area in the current time by using the research methods such as literature reviewing, case study and interview. The main content includes:the connotation of constructing an overall well-off society, the requirements for the basic education of the minority-gathering area in constructing an overall well-off society, the significance of developing the basic education of the minority-gathering area in constructing an overall well-off society, some problems and solutions in the basic education of the minority-gathering area in China.The thesis is composed of three chapters.Chapter One first defines the basic education of the minority-gathering area. It then analyzed the relationship between constructing an overall well-off society and developing the basic education of the minority-gathering area, in which two topics were discussed. One is the requirements for the basic education of the minority-gathering area in constructing an overall well-off society. And the other is the significance of developing the basic education of the minority-gathering area in constructing an overall well-off society.Chapter Two is a discussion about the main problems that the basic education of the minority-gathering area is facing. The main problems are:the educational ideas in the minority-gathering area is a little behind, the development of the basic education in the minority-gathering area is out of the balance, the educational form is far from being multi-perspective, the staff training of the basic education in the minority-gathering area should be strengthened and the research in the basic education in the minority-gathering area is behind.In chapter Three the author put forwards some solutions to the problems mentioned in chapter Two. These contents include:enhancing the dominant function of the government to promote the development of the basic education in the minority-gathering area, combining different kinds of educational forms to improve the basic education in the minority-gathering area, improving the staff training of the basic education in the minority-gathering area, strengthening the theoretical research of basic education in the minority-gathering area.
