According to The National Medium and Long-Term Educational Reform and Development Program’(2010,9), it is clear that teachers should pay attention to thinking and learning. Teachers should advocate heuristic teaching method, the inquiry teaching method, the discussion teaching method and the participatory teaching method. They should help students learn how to learn and pay attention to the unity of knowledge and practice. They should keep combining theories of teaching and learning with productive labour and social practice. Education must follow the principle of teaching students in accordance with their aptitude. Teachers should pay attention to students’ different personalities and and characteristics so that every student can develop their potential advantages. To cultivate students’ habit and capability of the self-regulated learning meets the basic points in ’Compulsory Education Mathematics Curriculum Standard’(2011Edition).According to this theory, our school actively respond to the call of this. Our school declared and have been one of the first experimental schools which put on the self-regulated teaching mode into practice. Our school also have some research and practice about it by using the preparation exercises before class.There are seven sections in this paper:The first section is the background and meaning. The second section is literature review. The third section is the analysis on the current situation of Suzhou junior middle school students’ self-regulated mathematics learning. The fourth section is about the research on the teaching mode of the self-regulated mathematics learning in Junior Middle School. It includes theories, structure, operation strategy, constructing approaches.The fifth section elaborates the practice of the teaching mode based on typical cases.The sixth section is an analysis on the one-year result of the self-regulated learning. Two class students in Suzhou Zhenhua School were observed. The seven section is conclusions and recommendations.In the junior middle school stage, to put this teaching mode into practice can help students cultivate their habit and capability of the self-regulated learning. And it will have a profound influence on students’ follow-up study and further study.
