With the popularization of computer and simulation technology, integrate Multisim11simulation software into the teaching of electrical technology basics and skills, and theteaching methods, teaching model has had a great deal of change, greatly promoting thereform of traditional theory teaching and the experiment teaching of electrical technology.This paper described the development process, features and functions of the Multisim11simulation software. Analyses the curriculum nature, tasks, teaching objectives, content andrequest, advice and teaching methods about electrical technology basics and skills, andexisting problems in the curriculum teaching of electrical technology. In the constructivismlearning theory, situated learning theory and the theory of information integration technologyand curriculum under the guidance, explore the feasibility and advantages about Multisim11simulation software used in electrical theory teaching, experiment teaching. Introduces thebasic analysis method of Multisim11is applied to the electrical technology basics and skillscurriculum teaching and typical examples, and the teaching effects were compared andanalyzed, and puts forward the basic ideas for further research and future prospects. Inelectrical technology theory teaching, use the Multisim11simulation software to createrelatively rich learning environment, construct meaning for students, help students changefrom passive acceptance of knowledge for the active exploration, to promote the reform ofteaching theory, to make the teaching content with the development trend of the times. In theelectrical experiment teaching, the application of Multisim11simulation software, can savethe cost of laboratory construction, to protect the safety of students and components,instrumentation, expand the scope and space of the experiment, help the students in-depthunderstanding of the circuit principle, breakthrough the difficulty of teaching, stimulatestudents’ interest in learning, improve the level of students’ experimental skill levels, realizeintegration teaching of theory and practice. So learning by doing, doing to teach into practice,to cultivate the students creative thinking, to improve the students’ ability to analyze problemsand solve the problems.Then comparatively analyzed the integration effect of Multisim11is applied to theelectrical technology basics and skills curriculum teaching, and the Multisim11simulationtechnology in the application and development prospect of electrical theory teaching andpractice teaching are discussed.
