| Heilongjiang is China’s most northern provinces, region is vast, the minority is concentrated, each nation has a long history, has a long history of traditional sports culture, with strong ethnic characteristics and glorious and resplendent history of Heilongjiang Province, is a unique regional culture. Traditional sports culture to generation and development, education is the best way to cultivate the best place, lifelong sports and exercise for students is the school, important factors affecting the whole school level of education and the quality education is the sports teaching situation. Development of school physical education of national minority in west area of Heilongjiang province and the developed area compared to the large gap, has seriously hampered compulsory education in the region, more serious is, some of the region of the national traditional sports culture is dying, in order to make the minority traditional sports culture, to inheritance and development, we have the the western region of Heilongjiang Province, is selected as the representative of the minority school.We initially developed in the Mongolia nationality, Manchu. Daur minority school represented, investigation of the present situation of school sports in the three ethnic groups, find out the common problems existing in every school of physical education, work out a solution to the problem, this will be the inheritance and development of traditional minority national sports play an important role, and. on the to promote the development of students’ personality,let the students participate in sports awareness has been enhanced, is conducive to the basic method of exercise science master students, lay a good foundation for lifelong sport.In this paper, using the method of literature, expert interviews, questionnaire survey method, case analysis method, to the ethnic minority school in the western region of Heilongjiang Province as the research object, in the area of national sports teaching of middle school teachers’ status, status, site equipment and facilities and other aspects of in-depth and meticulous research and analysis, draw the conclusion, and puts forward the feasible suggestions according to the actual situation. The main conclusions of the1studies:1.1ethnic schools in accordance with the requirements of the school syllabus, ensure the basic teaching of PE class number, rate of close to90%. The main types of classes,2classes per week for57.14%, including18.25%urban school opened3PE classes every week.The national tradition sports project1.2most of the national school, and some also offer other traditional ethnic sports, so that students can learn other nation’s sports culture, conducive to a communication between ethnic groups, promoting national unity.
