Research On The Core Competence Of JiangXi BlueSky University

China’s non-governmental higher education started in the nineteen eighties. Since the reform and opening up China’s market economic system continuously improved and education reform of constantly in-depth, the non-governmental higher education in our country grows out of nothing, from small to large, not only in quantity but also in the school running scale level has great development. After more than20years of development, our country emerge in large numbers of outstanding non-governmental universities, they have advanced idea of running school, a good social reputation, excellent running conditions, the overall strength of strong, high quality of education, and has the spirit of exploration and innovation. JiangXi BlueSky University is one of them.This paper is taked JiangXi BlueSky University as the object of study. The author through investigation, interview to understand its current situation. Based on the Michael Porter’s Five Forces Mode, this paper analysis private higher education sector in Jiangxi province, and through the SWOT model of analysis of Jiangxi Blue Sky University’s strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats. Based on the theory of core competence, this paper discusses the non-governmental universities’ core competitiveness concept and connotation characteristic, try to construct consists of four levels of factors determined the core competitiveness of non-governmental universities generation model. This paper discusses and uses DEA method to evaluate the core competence of JiangXi BlueSky University, summarizes its successful reasons. Finally, this paper analyzes the existing problems of the JiangXi BlueSky University, put forward to enhance its core competence piece of advice:constructing a strict and effective quality guarantee mechanism, strengthen the construction of teaching staff, strengthen discipline and specialty construction, cultivate excellent campus culture. I hope that these suggestions for other non-governmental universities also have draw lessons from a meaning.
