This research is based on the relationship between reading and writing. And the objectsof the study are four classes of grade2in a high school, named Panshan county high school inLiaoning province. The aim of this study is to find ways to improve student’s ability ofreading and writing skills when they are doing extracurricular reading, and get a higher scorein writing test.In the Introduction, this paper states the practical significance of this research and thedifference or the development from the study before. And they are the difference of theresearch sample and the consideration to the influence of Internet to the Chinese reading andwriting of the students.And there are five chapters in the main body.The first chapter is the concept analysis. This is the theory foundation of this research. Inthis chapter the definition of extracurricular reading and writing in this research. And alsostate the understanding of the relationship between reading and writing of the writer base onthe existing research.The second chapter mainly demonstrates how the samples do the extracurricular readingand having writing skill classes. And the most important part is the analysis of the data thatabout the reading situation and the score.The third chapter is about four mainly questions in students’ extracurricular reading andwriting classes. They are: deviation exists in student’s extracurricular reading consciousness,content and method; lack of choosing in reading net literature; amount of writing class is toolittle; method of writing teaching is too old-fashioned. These four questions are from theresearch and interview of the students. And they are the foundation and guidance of thefollowing solutions.The forth chapter provides the solutions on how to make the student improve their skill ofreading and writing when they are doing extracurricular reading, and take a higher score fromthe students’ side. They should have a right view of extracurricular reading, and read thebooks that suit them. Anyhow they also should read the books in a right and efficient way.The fifth chapter also provides solutions to the teachers’ side, to make their students havea better skill of reading and writing and a satisfy score. That they should pay attentions ontheir own cultivation, and make an efficient schedule of the teaching time, also can deal withthe Internet media in a correct way.
