| Writing is the comprehensive embodiment of students’ Chinese accomplishment.It embodies students’ cognition and feelings of life and reflects their spiritual level and height.In junior high school,the writing teaching of Chinese subject is devoted to guiding students to learn to communicate with themselves and others,so that they can form their own opinions,and finally deepen their thinking and express the thinking process in a precise and prudent way.In recent years,the teaching concept of "Improving writing by reading" has been widely used.Teachers’ comments and comments about the writing knowledge have penetrated into the classroom reading teaching,enriching the form and content of writing teaching to some extent.However,with the implementation of the new curriculum reform,the difficulty of Chinese composition examination in junior middle school has been increasing,and the limited in-class reading guidance alone is not enough to help students cope with the difficulties faced by writing.As an important part of students’ reading,extracurricular reading plays an important role in writing.However,under exam-oriented education,extracurricular reading instruction is in a state of disorder in daily teaching,and the connection with writing teaching is even less.Teachers should teach students systematic and efficient reading methods on the basis of independent extracurricular reading so as to promote writing.Based on transfer theory and constructivism learning theory,research methodology of this paper mainly in literature,questionnaire survey method and interview.By sorting out and analyzing the literature,the research direction and scope were determined,and a questionnaire in junior high school students’ writing status was surrounded related dimensions.Based on the questionnaire,this paper finds out the problems in writing teaching,analyzes the causes of the problems,and puts forward practical teaching strategies.This paper is divided into five parts.The first part elaborates the research background,the research significance,the domestic experts’ summary of the thesis topic and the paper’s research method.The second part introduces the related concepts and theoretical basis of promoting writing based on extracurricular reading instruction.The third part introduces the teaching significance of extracurricular reading and writing.Mainly from the these five aspects to explain the effect of extracurricular reading on writing:material,language,skills,life and thought.The fourth part analyzes the results of questionnaire survey and interview,puts forward the problems existing in the teaching process of extracurricular reading andwriting,and analyzes the causes of the problems.The fifth part introduces the specific teaching strategies of extracurricular reading to promote writing. |
