Language elective curriculum is one of the highlights of the new curriculumreform, is one of the important symbols of China’s basic education curriculum reform,and its success is related to the success of the curriculum reform. As one of China’smost important educational tests at this stage, college entrance examination isshouldering the selection of personnel for colleges and universities, to promote qualityeducation in secondary schools, the expansion of autonomous and the allocation ofhigher education resources functions. At the same time, as a high school languagecurriculum and teaching an important component part is also an important indicator tomeasure high school language curriculum and teaching, curriculum reform of basiceducation in China would have a negligible effect. This article is based on how toexamine the basis of the analysis of the elective courses for college entrance languagepapers, so that people are able to have a more comprehensive understanding, and tryto find a meeting point between the college entrance examination and elective coursesfor both integration to make some efforts better, in order to make the new curriculumreform proceed smoothly.Except the introduction, the paper is divided into four chapters. The introductionmainly tells the study of the origin, purpose and meaning, as well as the study of thecurrent situation and research methods, and it laid the foundation for the launching ofthe study. The first chapter discusses the theoretical basis and significance of languageelective curriculum. The second chapter points the necessity of the entrance languagepapers to examine the elective courses in three contexts. The third chapter focuses thereality of the entrance language papers to examine the elective courses, and theproblem appears in the process. The forth chapter try to find some strategies to solvethe problem, which is based on the analysis of the third chapter.
