The new curriculum standards has made it quite clear thatEthic Lessons in Middle Class should improve students’ability toanalyze, observe and feel, as well as showing attention to their interestsand improve their ability to analyze and solve problems.As situationalteaching is in line with the requirements of the new curriculumreform, it arouses wide concern. This article discusses the issue ofhow to apply the situational approach to the ideological and moralcourse in middle school.There are four chapter in the study: The ifrst chapter, weshould take the situational teaching’s basic concept, research review,research significance and research methods as the introduction. Thesecond chapter, the significance of the application of situationalteaching in thought moral qualities lessons in junior high school.Situational teaching can help students master the basic knowledge. Itcan cultivate students’s comprehensive ability. It can help studentsestablish the correct emotional attitude and values. The third chapter,the methods of the application of situational teaching in thoughtmoral qualities lessons in junior high school. The methods includepresenting situation through multimedia, depicting situation throughlanguage, developing situation through the problem, feeling situationthrough activities. The fourth chapter, the considerations of theapplication of situational teaching in thought moral qualities lessonsin junior high school. We must meet the teaching objectives andcontents. We must meet students’actual. We must use novel lfexibleform. We must note the moderate amount of the created situation.We must perfect the evaluation system. Appendix: the case of theapplication of situational teaching in thought moral qualities lessonsin junior high school.
